How it works

GPS maps the whole garden as one space

No perimeter wire to follow. The robot holds the entire garden as coordinates and plans its own route.

Plans its own route

It reads the whole garden over GPS and works out the optimal path itself. Nobody draws the route.

Detects and avoids obstacles

Pine trees, stoneware jars, a pond, stone borders — it recognises real garden obstacles and works around them.

Complete coverage

It fills the area in a pattern. No half-finished patches left behind.

Returns, charges, resumes

When the battery runs low it docks itself, charges, and picks up where it stopped.

Cutting angle control

You can set the direction of travel. This is the setting that produces the stripes below.

Silent night operation

It runs after dark too. It works quietly while guests sleep, and the garden is done by morning.

Set the cutting angle and you get parallel stripes, like a golf course fairway. Depending on how the light falls, the green shifts light and dark — and the pattern becomes part of the garden.

Scope

We do not just drop off a machine

A robotic mower is not plug-and-play. Every garden has different boundaries and obstacles, and the initial setup decides the result. We hand it over already running.

1. Survey	Site visit; check area, slope, obstacles and power access	Determines the right model and dock position. Skip it and you get zones the robot never reaches.
2. Install	Mount the machine, fix the docking station, set the GPS reference station	Reference placement drives positioning accuracy. Under trees or against a wall will not do.
3. Mapping	Define working boundaries, register obstacles and no-go zones	Ponds, flower beds and parking areas get locked out before the first run.
4. Configure	Set cutting angle, cut height and weekly schedule, then run a test cycle	The angle is what creates the stripes. The schedule is built around your check-in times.
5. Handover	Walk through operation, the app, and seasonal care	From then on you can change angle and schedule yourself.

Scope covers equipment supply plus installation and initial setup. Day-to-day operation is yours; seasonal servicing can be arranged separately if you want it.

FAQ

Common questions

What happens in rain, or over winter?

The schedule is set to pause during rain. Over winter, when grass stops growing, the machine is stored; we cover start- and end-of-season checks during handover.

Is it safe to run while guests are on the property?

It detects obstacles and moves slowly. We still recommend scheduling around guest hours — Seorakfarm Stay runs it at night. It is quiet enough not to disturb the stay.

Our garden has a pond and stone borders. Will that work?

So does the garden at Seorakfarm Stay — pines, stoneware jars, a pond, stone borders. Registered as no-go zones during setup, those areas are never entered. Conditions differ by garden, so a site survey is required.

Do the golf-course stripes always appear?

Only when a cutting angle is set. Without it the robot takes arbitrary paths and no clear stripes remain. We set the angle during installation, and you can change it afterwards.

Can we take this without the rest of the automation system?

What does it cost?

The model depends on garden size and conditions, so there is no single figure. After a site survey we quote equipment plus installation and setup together.
