What kind of company is Balancetech?
A software company in Yongin, Gyeonggi — and the operator of Seorak Farm Private Stay, a private cabin in Yangyang, Gangwon. The system we sell is the system we use to take guests every day.
Plenty of companies sell automation. Few of them run it themselves. Most explain it with a proposal and a demo, and the customer is the one who finds out what happens after go-live.
For us the order was reversed. We were running a guesthouse, got worn down by enquiries arriving at all hours, and built the system for ourselves. Only after watching it work did we offer it as a product. That is why we sell only what we can say works — and why we write down the cases where it does not fit.
Three principles
We sell only what we have run ourselves
If it has not run at Seorak Farm, it is not on the product list. Anything still being built is labelled as such — that is why the florist automation page carries stage badges. Making everything look finished always causes trouble after go-live.
Data and channels belong to the owner
Domain, KakaoTalk channel, Google Sheet and cloud account are all registered in the owner's name. When the contract ends, the assets and the customer records stay with the owner. We only operate them; the data is yours from first day to last.
Automation prepares; people decide
The concierge answers only from the knowledge base and hands anything else to the operator rather than inventing it. Florist orders are dispatched only after a manager approves them in KakaoTalk. We do not hand judgements involving money and reputation to a machine.
